ABOUT
MARINA
HELLO!
MEET MARINA
I’m a registered dietitian a diabetes educator and most importantly a mom of 2 girls. So, I know feeding kids can be challenging.
I’ve been a registered dietitian for more 13 year’s and I have more than 10yrs experience as a pediatric dietitian. I’m the founder of Nutrichicos- a bilingual children's and family nutrition practice.
As a pediatric dietitian, my goal is to help you raise healthy eaters who have a positive relationship with food.
I help every-day parents like yourself- improve meals and raise healthy eaters without resorting to TRICKS, BRIBES OR DIETS
My feeding philosophy is simple. I don’t believe in diets for kids. I focus on inclusion rather than exclusion. (I guess I like to see things as a glass full rather than half empty). I believe in teaching kids and families how to eat healthy and balanced and most importantly how to create a healthy relationship with food that will stay with them forever.
I’m also a diabetes educator and working with individuals with diabetes is another of my passions ever since I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 17yrs old. I’ve worked at leading diabetes institutions where I’ve helped hundreds of families

MY
FEEDING PHILOSOPHY

Kid’s don’t need to be put on diets, they need to LEARN how to eat.
The goal as parents is to raise kids that are curious about food, enjoy it and are able to self-regulate without us having to tell them what or how much to eat.
The goal is not for kids to EAT vegetables, but rather LIKE and ENJOY them!
I believe feeding kids should focus more on the relationship with food rather if than if they eat broccoli or not.
